Buy for the whole night,
not the first photo
Almost every costume looks fine in the first ten minutes. The ones worth paying for are the ones you can still sit down in, eat in, and get home in — which is nearly always a question of fabric weight and closures rather than the design.
It is also worth thinking about the last hour rather than the first. Full-head masks and inflatables are the best thing in the room at eight and the worst at eleven, so buy one knowing you will be carrying it home.

Decide if you are sitting down
A seated dinner rules out the inflatable and anything with a backpack rig. A standing party does not.
Check the measurement, not your usual size
Cosplay suits are sold by wearer height in centimetres. Go by the number on the product page.
Work out what is actually included
Each product page lists it. Headgear, masks and accessories vary between the suits.
Order two weeks out
Sizes go in order of popularity, and the middle sizes go first. Late October is not the time to be choosy.

How does the sizing run?
The cosplay suits are sized by wearer height in centimetres, which is the number to go by. Everything else states its sizing on the product page.
Are these officially licensed?
No — these are unlicensed cosplay and dress-up pieces, which is reflected in the price.
Can I return a costume?
Only unworn, with tags and packaging intact, within 30 days. Once worn it is not returnable for hygiene reasons.
Do you stock children's sizes?
Yes — several of the cosplay suits come in 120cm and 150cm. The size is in the product name.
